Japan: My Paradise on Earth
I’ve recently gone on a 2-week holiday to Japan, finally my chance to visit the country I’ve been longing for in the past 8 years of my life. The one country that’s always fascinated me, not only for the food, history or culture, but for the people – who are very polite and accommodating.
I’ve done my research on the country and have tried to learn the language, so I knew what to watch out for in conversation and thought I wouldn’t be surprised by much that was bound to happen, I just wanted to see it in person and make it a reality. I would just hopeful that nothing would turn out to be a disappointment once I got there, because I don’t know how much of that I could handle.
Japan, after visiting it, I can tell you is like my paradise on Earth. People are mindful of others, are generally very quiet and clean, but still cheery and happy, they’re polite, their food is incredible and they make you feel at home.
Of course it does depend on where you go, as I didn’t have the exact same feeling in Tokyo, but generally speaking it is a country I will never forget and I can’t wait to go back.
Many more posts on specific locations and culture insights coming soon. Let me know what you want to hear about in the comments below and follow my journey on Instagram (@pnavr) for more pictures of this trip 😊
