Setting Goals: Motivation to Write (Challenge Completed)

At the beginning of this month, I challenged myself to post at least one blog post every single day of the month. Last year I failed by 2 days, but I wanted to challenge myself further!

I used this challenge to motivate myself to write more and not forget how therapeutic writing can be for me, and this part of the challenge has definitely been achieved.

It’s also been a wake up call that, whenever I want to write, I should write. Even if I’m not feeling particularly inspired, simply sitting down and putting all my thoughts on part is an amazing way to truly face how I feel. And the writing doesn’t have to be perfect, as long as I stay true to how I feel and how I want to write.

Yes, I write in different styles. Yes, sometimes I vary the topics quite a lot because I like to focus on a lot of different things. But that is what my blog is all about. Writing whatever I want, whenever I want it, as a way to not only inspire and motivate others, but also inspire and motivate myself.

Let me know what other challenges I should try to do to motivate myself to writing more and more 😊

  1. Even though I haven’t been able to write everyday, but I always spend a few minutes per day for reading. It helps me a lot to find inspiration and idea for my next writing. Good luck on your challenge!

  2. I think you did a great job in trying to write something every day!

Sometimes, I think it’s nice as a reader just to read a few lines here and there about the ups and downs of life without sugar coating it.

    Keep it up!
