A World of Writers

In a world of writers, how do you stand out? In a world of anything, how do you stand out?

I used to hate clichés, but I truly believe that the answer is: just be yourself!

That doesn’t mean just be yourself and stop trying, but be yourself and produce work that you are proud of, that makes you happy. If you are simply just faking it the whole way, you might end up even being successful, but it will be very difficult for you to be happy, as you will never truly feel heard.

I feel like people can sense when others aren’t really being true to themselves, so if you just focus on doing what you’re happy with, that’s when all the pieces of the puzzles come together.
