Basic Human Instinct.
Be kind to others, don’t watch them suffer. Putting yourself in their shoes isn’t enough – how could you possibly know the amount of hurt their going through?
Remember, you wouldn’t kick someone with a severe open wound, why would you attack someone with a psychological one?
Mental health is a growing concern in our society, but there are still a lot of areas that are overlooked. If someone is suffering, struggling with their mental health, don’t just tell them to get over it, it won’t help.
You wouldn’t tell someone with a broken leg to just walk it off.
______________
I don’t mean to pass off the above as original thoughts, but these have been floating around in my brain and I needed to address them. Take care of those around you, even if you see no visible wounds.

Actually no visible wounds can be more hurtful than visible wounds. Nice post!

I feel that empathy is also on a spectrum. It seems so obvious to some to be compassionate while others just totally have no clue . Hopefully I’m wrong and empathy is something that can actually be learned or strengthened.

Thank you for this reminder. We have look out for each other because most of the time, the people in our lives are unaware of their mental health states, particularly when illnesses are still in the onset phase.
Thank you getting it out to share awareness.
