Stream of Thoughts

I don’t know what I’m doing. But then again, does anyone? I mean, I know what I’m doing professionally and I know I’m good at what I do, but what an I doing with my life? Where it is headed?

There are so many factors to keep into consideration with every decision I make. Will it ultimately take me to where I want to be in the future? How do we know we’re on the right path?

When I look at other people my age, a few seem to have their own house, an incredible job, and are able to keep their routines in check while still socialising with their friends regularly. How are they able to keep it up, and why am I not?

It seems harder and harder to be on top of everything and keep up with my daily tasks. How do find the energy to do it all at once? What do you need to move lower in the list of priorities in order to make it all work?

There are just “some” of the questions constantly flowing through my head lately. I wonder if others my age feel the same way, why that is and how to fix it.

  1. We are all different and with that our paths were always meant to be unique to us. Comparison can really hurt us, try to stay true to who you are and where you are. Your turning point will arrive, it will be unique to you… ☺️

  2. Your words here are so accurate! I think it’s hard to feel fully secure when everything you see on social media is the best, most edited version. It’s hard not to compare yourself and doubt yourself. But even taking the time to do this blog is you ‘being you’ and heading in the direction meant for you.

  3. A good piece of advice given to me was to invest in connections who you think are accomplishing what you want to. Pick their brain or better yet, ask them to Shadow you for a day to offer tips which may help to propel you into the direction which can benefit you. Good luck!

  4. Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog and liking my post. Your encouragement is a big boost for amateurs like me. Hope to create better posts and receive more feedback in the future.

Your post reminds me of things that I deal with on a daily basis. You’re not alone. Life was never meant to be simple, I guess.

    Best wishes.

  5. First, Thanks for liking some of my posts. It prompted me to check out your musings and I am liking what I am reading.

I am unsure of your age, but I am 30 and have had these thoughts since I was still a teen. The hardest thing is to actually put these thoughts in writing or talk about them with people. Once you do, it makes it real. Vulnerability. It’s not fun.

Just be proud of who you are and be yourself. Do not compare. Just live. Life is beautiful. I do not have everything together but I find myself dispelling those thoughts by thinking of all the things I have in life. It always makes me feel better 🙂

-Also- reading and writing always helps
