Anxiety

Anxiety prevents you from succeeding. It keeps you from going on. It complicates everything.

Anxiety not only destroyed certain friendships, it kept me from making new ones. It makes me feel I am not good enough and that no one will ever help me get through it.

I know better. I know how to make it go away temporarily and I know the way I feel when I am having an anxiety attack does not reflect reality. And, still, I cannot get rid of it permanently. I cannot get rid of the feeling. Can’t eat right, can’t sleep and can’t concentrate enough to show others what I am able to do on a good day.

For all this, and without going to great depths on this topic, I will say for future reference (for others and for myself): You are better than you think you are, you will make it through anything and you will always have someone’s support. You are not controlled by this and you can do anything you put your mind to. Get out, enjoy your day and face the world. It is not so scary after all 🙂

Hope everyone is having a good day!!

  1. Thanks for sharing these excellent words. When it comes to anxiety I am always reminded of the Bible verse in Philippians 4:6-7 which says…Do not be anxious about anything, but by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts. I have experienced this truth hundreds of times 🙂
